FAQ

How much does the Goblin King class cost?
Goblin King costs 30,000 Cores — the top price band, shared with Bounty Hunter, Pirate and Executioner. Its Level 4 team bonus gates at 30,000,000 m of career total depth, the highest gate in the game.
What starting gear does Goblin King give you?
A Goblin King Crown, Chest and Legs, plus a Goblin King Scepter once you reach Level 2. The Scepter is what turns defeated goblins into recruits.
How do I unlock Goblin King Level 2?
Level 2 requires completing 25 Dungeons and defeating 5,000 Goblins. Both are long grinds, which is why Goblin King takes far longer to level than the 5,000-Core classes even though the price is the only thing that looks expensive.
What does the Goblin King Level 3 perk do?
Every Goblin Lord you defeat increases your recruit limit by +1, up to a maximum of 20. The requirement is completing 10 Goblin Rings and defeating 50 Goblin Lords, so the cap builds over many runs.
Is Goblin King worth 30,000 Cores?
Only as a late purchase. It is an economy class built around goblin kills, and goblins are the most common enemy in the game — so the income is real. But 30,000 Cores buys Driller, Tank and Mechanic together, and those fix more urgent problems.

What Goblin King actually does

Goblin King costs 30,000 Cores — the top price band, shared with Bounty Hunter, Pirate and Executioner — and it is built entirely around goblins.

That is less niche than it sounds. Goblins are the most common enemy in Drill to Earth’s Core: Goblin, Goblin Brute, Goblin Loot, Goblin Knight, Goblin Lord and Goblin Champion all appear from the Grass Layer down, and there is a dedicated Goblin’s Arena structure in the Crystal Layer. A class that multiplies goblin income has a very large pool to draw from.

You start each run with a Goblin King Crown, Chest and Legs.

Level by level

Level Unlock What changes
1 30,000 Cores Goblins sell for +100% Coins
2 Complete 25 Dungeons, defeat 5,000 Goblins Start with a Goblin King Scepter that recruits Goblins
3 Complete 10 Goblin Rings, defeat 50 Goblin Lords Each Goblin Lord defeated increases recruit limit by +1, up to 20
4 30,000,000 m career total depth Team bonus: start with a Goblin Knight on your team

Goblin income is the Level 1 payoff

Goblins sell for +100% Coins. Base prices run from 10 Coins for a plain Goblin up to 3,000 for a Goblin Champion, so doubling the whole ladder is a substantial income floor.

The enemies guide has the full price table. The short version: goblins are everywhere, they are cheap to kill, and Goblin King makes each one worth twice as much. That is a passive income multiplier that never stops applying.

Recruits are the unusual part

Level 2 starts you with a Goblin King Scepter that recruits Goblins — defeated goblins join you rather than just dropping loot. Level 3 then raises the cap: every Goblin Lord you defeat adds +1 to your recruit limit, up to 20.

A recruited goblin army is a genuinely different way to play the game. It gives a solo player a group in a 30-player co-op title, and it scales with how many Goblin Lords you have personally killed.

The catch is the requirements. Complete 25 Dungeons and defeat 5,000 Goblins for Level 2, then 10 Goblin Rings and 50 Goblin Lords for Level 3. Those are long grinds, and they are why Goblin King is a project rather than a purchase.

Hitting the requirements

  • Level 2: 25 Dungeons completed, 5,000 Goblins defeated
  • Level 3: 10 Goblin Rings completed, 50 Goblin Lords defeated
  • Level 4: 30,000,000 m of career total depth — the highest gate in the game

Dungeons come in three levels and spawn from the Grass Layer down; the structures and dungeons guide maps where each one appears. Goblin Rings are tied to the Goblin’s Arena, which sits in the Crystal Layer.

Where Goblin King fits

Goblin King is a late purchase, and the honest comparison is what else 30,000 Cores buys: Driller (5,000) + Tank (5,000) + Mechanic (5,000) + Reaper (10,000) — four classes that cover the wall, survival, fuel and sustain, with 5,000 left over.

Buy Goblin King when your fundamentals are covered and you want an economy class that also changes how you play. Until then, the best classes tier list has the priority order, and how to get Cores covers how to reach 30,000 without grinding for months.
